Fall is quickly approaching, Monday Sept 21st forecast
By Shawn Quien,
2026-09-20Despite the dark and at times ominous looking clouds, we did not see any measurable rainfall today other than a few drops here and there in our foothills and mountains. A cut off low pressure system will continue to push inland just to our north which mean more clouds and the very slight chance for a sprinkle will stay in play. With the upper level cloud cover, marine layer fog will be a bit harder to track, but patchy fog is expected along our coast in to early Monday morning. Overnight lows will dip in to the 50's and lower 60's. Cloud cover will thin through the day with better clearing toward the evening which means temperatures will stay on the mild side with widespread 60's and 70's expected.
