Simms Hires a Patagonia Fly-Fishing Veteran to Run Global Sales

2026-09-15Simms Fishing Products has named Dexter “Dex” Levandoski its global sales leader, effective Sept. 15, per the company announcement carried by Fishing Tackle Retailer. Levandoski spent most of his 15-plus industry years at Patagonia, starting as a fly-fishing sales rep in the Northern Rockies and later leading the brand’s North American fly-fishing sales. He joins the Bozeman company from Poncho Outdoors, where he directed wholesale expansion. “Dex brings exactly the combination we were looking for — proven sales leadership, deep industry relationships and a deep connection to fishing,” Simms president Dave Mellon said in the announcement.
