A front will remain near our area on Sunday, which will keep widespread showers and storms in the forecast. Highs for the day will be in the mid to upper 80s.Isolated instances of flooding will be possible once again due to the slow movement of the activity. Make sure to keep an eye to the sky and storms could develop rapidly. Activity will eventually dissipate later in the evening. The disturbance will remain near our area on Monday. Scattered showers and storms will remain in the forecast with highs near 90 degrees.Regarding the drought, the latest drought monitor reflects improvement across our area. Several areas have been downgraded to a moderate and severe drought which reflects the rainfall we saw over the past week.
