(KOTA) -Today, we’re learning how to make the perfect slow cooked roast beef with President of the Beef Logic Inc. Board of Directors, Eric Sumption. Sumption explained his role with the nonprofit and the versatility of a good roast for all kinds of meals. Here’s his recipe:<ol><li>Place a 2-3 lb. roast into a Crock-Pot.</li><li>Add one chopped onion, a half cup of beef broth or water and optionally 2 tablespoons minced garlic and season with a little bit of salt and pepper.</li><li>Turn the Crock-Pot on once all ingredients are inside. </li><li>If cooking normally, set the Crock-Pot to high and let the roast cook for 3-4 hours. If slow-cooked, set to low and cook for 9-10 hours.</li><li>Use a meat thermometer to determine doneness. At 195°F, the cooked roast will be fully cooked and can be sliced into pieces easily.
