HAVEN Music Venue Closes Indefinitely Due to Permitting Issues

HAVEN, an independent music venue located in a church at the corner of Atwood and Bates streets in Pittsburgh, has been ordered to close indefinitely by the City of Pittsburgh's Department of Permits, Licenses, and Inspections. Post Genre, the organization behind HAVEN, announced the closure on Thursday via an Instagram post. The venue was set to open permanently in January 2024 after temporary concerts in February, but permitting issues have delayed the process. Despite working with the Pittsburgh Innovation District and city officials, the team received a stop-work order, suspending all events. Refunds are being issued to those who purchased concert tickets.
