Tiny Strings program introduces young children to the Violin
By Todd Cummins,
2026-01-10NEW KNOXVILLE, Ohio (WLIO) — Young children can gain musical and developmental benefits by learning to play the violin through a local program designed for early learners. Tiny Strings is a group music program offered in New Knoxville, Wapakoneta and Lima for children ages 3 to 7. The program teaches the basics of violin playing while helping children build foundational skills through repetition and structured learning. Organizers say the violin is especially beneficial for young children because it encourages coordination and cognitive development, while also fostering an early appreciation for music.
