(Valley News Live) - Fargo-Moorhead’s St. Patrick’s Parade has been postponed, according to officials. The press release says, this is due to potentially dangerous weather expected on Saturday. Officials say, they have moved the parade from March 15 to March 22.“We know everyone is anxious to shake off the long winter with this annual spring tradition, but safety comes first, and we appreciate the community’s understanding as we adjust plans,” said Rocky Schneider, Executive Director of the Downtown Community Partnership. “Thank you to our incredible volunteers, city partners, and businesses for their flexibility—we couldn’t put on this celebration without you!”There’s also an update to the parade’s route. The parade will still start in Moorhead on Center Ave, crossing into Downtown Fargo on NP Ave and heading north on Broadway. However, instead of continuing to 4th Ave, the parade will now turn east on 2nd Ave, finishing at 5th St., just past Broadway. The press release says, the modified route will highlight Broadway Square as the prime viewing spot for the parade. It also helps support those going to the Fargo Film Festival, which is happening at the Fargo Theatre that same day.</div></body>
