While they’ve become known for an ethereal minimalism, for spring 2025, they went in a more decorative direction. With Marina Abramović front row and Mariacarla Boscono and Julez Smith on the runway, they showed an innovative lineup with a slight ’30s flair.</p><p>Standouts (and sure-to-sell-outs) included tailored blazer-dresses, patent-leather trenches, and elevated baseball jerseys with abstract splashes of color. Silky dresses in ombré pastel and elaborately collaged photo prints tilted the proceedings towards maximalism. </p><p>The duo showed their version of a logo, in the form of an abstract “JS” that they worked into multiple pieces. They would often upend a look with an unusual detail: the cuffs of a conservative-looking suit dripped fringe or a delicately beaded floral cardigan was paired with a tough leather skirt. The Meiers’ accessory game was also on point, between the sweeping, shoulder-dusting earrings, boxy bags, and a striking boot-loafer hybrid in butter yellow.</p><p>And while red carpet dressing doesn’t necessarily seem to be their M.O., the menswear-style shirtdresses—featuring shoulders encrusted with elaborate sequins—would be right at home on the awards circuit. </p></div></body>
