it's basically flag football without the flags. heavens forbide a DB actually gets to defend that ball.

Seems like the officials are trying to control the outcome of the game instead of simply calling it. There should be two different types targeting calls. Targeting personal foul 15 yards automatic first down. Flagrant targeting same as targeting but player gets ejected.
