Little Yorkshire Terrier Who Lost Her Owner Now Looking For Love

    2024-08-12

(MA) Meet Angel August, a small Yorkie and Chihuahua mix pup who could really use your help moving...into your house! Angel recently came into Great Dog Rescue New England's care after an unexpected tragedy. Although she has been an owned pup her whole life, sadly Angel's owner passed away. Now safely in rescue care, Angel is patiently waiting for the next chapter of her life to begin. Will you help her write it?

    More Information On Angel August

Angel is a 7-year-old Yorkshire Terrier and Chihuahua mix pup. She is a small girl who weighs, as of 8/11/24, approximately 9 pounds. Angel has a short coat length, which is gray, blue, and silver in color. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. Angel is also housebroken.

According to Great Dog Rescue New England, Angel is the epitome of a "lap dog". There is nothing she loves more than being held or curled up on her human's lap to receive lots of love. Her main characteristics are sweet, lovable, and affectionate. She is very outgoing and gets along well with everyone she meets, be they human or canine. She also is good with children, but, due to her age, she would do best in a quieter home with someone who can be around most of the time.

How Can You Help Angel August?

If you are interested in adopting Angel, please fill out the adoption application form, which can be found here. She is available for adoption to anyone 24 or older and living in New England, NY, NJ, or PA.

Another huge thing you can do to help is consider fostering! There are never enough fosters to meet the demands of all the pups in need. More information on fostering with Great Dog Rescue New England can be found in the fostering section of their official website.

If you cannot adopt or foster, an easy way to help is to share this article or Angel's Petfinder profile: www.petfinder.com/dog/angel-august-local-gal
