    Two injured in Interstate crash

    RYAN TOWNSHIP – Two people were taken to a local hospital after a crash on the Interstate overnight.

    The crash happened around 11:48pm Thursday on Interstate 81 just north of the Frackville exit.

    A Mitsubishi rolled and came to a rest atop a guiderail.

    One occupant had to be rescued from the vehicle.

    Both occupants were taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.

    Firefighters from Ryan Township, Frackville, and Delano Township responding.

    State Police are investigating.

    I drove past this last night while I was working. Glad they are alright. It was pouring rain pretty good last night with Debby rolling through the area.
