This optical illusion is sure to give your brain a workout , or at least provide a bit of entertainment, whether you're tackling it solo or with a group. The challenge seems straightforward: find the odd clock out.

But as many who've tried to solve the puzzle have discovered , it's not as easy as it sounds.

Test your eyesight and concentration by trying to crack this illusion. Optical illusions trick your brain into focusing on one part of the image , while the element you're searching for - often hidden in plain sight - remains elusive.

Brain-teasing mental challenges - like crosswords, illusions, and sudokus - are good for your mind, say neurological experts. Regular mental exercise can offer short, medium, and long-term cognitive benefits and may even lower your risk of developing neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and dementia.

So, why not put your brain to work and enjoy a bit of fun by attempting the optical illusion, which you'll find in the image below, courtesy of FreshersLive. If you can't spot the clock, don't fret, you're not alone.

And we'll reveal the answer for you.

Hint: pay close attention to the colour tone of the picture to spot any variations and differences. Also, take in the entire image to look for any anomalies.

Take your time to try and figure it out. But if you're still stumped, we've got the answer below, highlighted in red.
