Hazleton police cut ribbon on new headquarters

HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — In Luzerne County, the Hazleton City Police Department held their National Night Out outdoors despite the weather.

During their event, local lawmakers and police officers held a ribbon-cutting ceremony dedicated to the opening of the new police station.

Guests to the event had the chance to meet and talk with local law enforcement while getting to watch live police demonstrations.

The event also offered local craft and food vendors along with live entertainment
