TCPalm has highlighted the area’s finest offensive players that handle the pigskin .
Now it’s time to shift the focus to the unit that makes it all possible: offensive line.
The big men up front often go unnoticed when a team puts points up on the scoreboard, yet it’s their work in the trenches that create the running lanes or provide enough time for the quarterback and pass catchers to connect.
While that group is generally unheralded, there are several linemen on the Treasure Coast that will be playing on Saturdays very soon.
Here are our best area offensive linemen entering the 2024 high school football season, in alphabetical order.

Quinton Dames
Fort Pierce Westwood
Vitals : 6-0, 260, Jr.
College offers: Pending
Although undersized, Dames proved to be invaluable during the Panthers’ 7-4 season, seeing time at the tackle, center and guard positions. At year’s end, Dames was named to TCPalm’s All-Area First Team.
Jayden Endres-Gomez
Port St. Lucie
Vitals : 6-0, 250, Sr.
College offers: Pending
Selected to the All-Area Second Team, Endres-Gomez was a bright spot during the Jaguars’ 1-9 campaign in 2023. The senior will be a key factor to a PSL squad looking to make strides under second-year head coach Kimbery Lubin.
Zyon Harris
Treasure Coast
Vitals : 6-0, 290, Sr.
College offers: Charlotte, Keiser, Western Kentucky
One opposing coach said the physical toll laid out by Treasure Coast can be felt for three weeks. Transferring in from Inlet Grove, Harris will be yet another Titan doling out the punishment. He saw time at guard during the spring after previously playing center for the Hurricanes.
Jake Jocks
Martin County
Vitals : 6-0, 290, Sr.
College offers: Grinnell, Keiser
The Tigers are no strangers to showcasing talent on the interior. After playing alongside college-bound linemen Kaleb Ferschke and Logan Tekus last year, Jocks will be the leader for that bunch this year as Martin County aims for yet another winning season.
Micah Smith
Vero Beach
Vitals : 6-6, 315, Jr.
College offers: Auburn, Florida, Florida Atlantic, Florida State, Indiana, Iowa State, Kentucky, Miami, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, South Florida, Texas, Texas A&M, UCF, West Virginia
The largest offensive lineman on the list combines tremendous power with agile feet, which turns him into a wrecking ball carving space during screens. Smith, a four-star prospect, is ranked 42nd among all juniors nationally according to ESPN.
Sean Tatum
John Carroll Catholic
Vitals : 6-5, 315, So.
College offers: Appalachian State, Baylor, Florida, Florida State, Miami, South Florida, Syracuse, Toledo, UCF, Western Kentucky
Tatum made quite the debut during his freshman campaign as he burst onto the scene thanks to a massive frame. Already with 10 Division I offers under his belt, the sophomore will be a force to be reckoned with for a long time.
