CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Clarksville authorities said they now know everyone involved in a deadly shooting outside a popular bar last weekend . The victim’s friends and family are hoping that means they’ll get more answers soon.
According to the Clarksville Police Department, a 911 call was made at approximately 11:18 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, about a shooting that occurred in the parking lot of Lyrics Lounge along Fort Campbell Boulevard.
Shortly after, officials were alerted that two men had arrived at Tennova Healthcare’s emergency room suffering from gunshot wounds. Both men were reportedly flown to Nashville to be treated for their injuries.
Police said one of the victims — identified as 27-year-old Tikoreus ‘Ty’ Gold of Clarksville — was pronounced dead at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

“A lot of times, you lose a loved one and you go to work and you’re away from it,” Evans said. “Well, this was our home, and he was definitely a loved one.”
Evans was Gold’s manager.
“Giant smile…no way you could not like Ty,” he said.
Evans shared memories of Ty as he showed News 2 around the young man’s work station.
“I first hired him when he was 19 at another dealership,” Evans recalled. “I saw a lot in him. He was a great kid. [He] had a huge family and that’s because anybody he met became his family.”
Authorities said nobody has been arrested in connection with the Lyrics Lounge homicide investigation, but they know all the parties involved in the incident.

Micheal Oliver is the general manager at the dealership where Gold worked.
“He’s one of those guys that just, when you talk to him, he just made a bright day for everybody,” Oliver said. “He was a great guy to work around and very enjoyable to be around.”
Gold was also a father, boyfriend, and son. That’s why Evans said he set up a GoFundMe to help Gold’s family.
“I just want to make sure his babies have school clothes and everything they need…He used to tell me about taking them school shopping and how much fun he had, and I just want to make sure they have everything they need, just like if he was taking care of them,” Evans explained.
