Laura Ingraham Dings Kamala Harris for Her Bad Habit of… Hugging People?

Fox News host Laura Ingraham ripped Vice President Kamala Harris over her record and her penchant for hugging fellow Democrats.

Ingraham argued on Friday night’s The Ingraham Angle that the former senator lacked the political instincts of past presidents and that her candidacy would be tested once the “honeymoon” period as her party’s presumptive 2024 nominee ends.

As the host dissected Harris’s chances in November, she portrayed the vice president as a gaffe-prone liability for Democrats. Ingraham aired clips of Harris hugging four different people at three events and monikered her the “hugger-in-chief.”

The host aired the videos as she claimed Harris was now hiding from reporters in order to avoid making missteps and as the media is working to protect her.

“It’s better for her to stay in her sweet spot as the hugger-in-chief,” she added.

“They want us to forget her penchant for making stuff up to make her personal Biography more compelling,” Ingraham said.

She concluded:

When you don’t really ever get vetted, when you get pushed along in your career not for your talent but because of connections. Well you can fake it for a while, but the truth is always going to come out. Here’s the truth. Harris is nowhere close to being as politically adept as Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden, let alone in the same stratosphere as Obama. She can’t hold a press conference or answer reporters’ questions. She can’t explain why their record is by any measure successful.

She can’t go into Michigan and explain how she’s going to rescue the auto industry. She can’t go into Pittsburgh and explain how she’s going to save the steel industry. We certainly know she can’t reassure a single world leader of her competence and understanding of geopolitical affairs.
