CBS News Anchor Kristine Johnson has been filling in for Gayle in her absence, alongside Nate and Chief Washington Correspondent for CBS News, Major Garrett.
The other hosts have not mentioned Gayle’s absence or where she is.
Her absence also coincides with her not posting on social media.
Her X account has not been posted on since December 2022.
‘WHERE IS SHE?’
Fans have started to worry about Gayle and asked where she is.
“Where’s @GayleKing? Haven’t seen her since she tried to give more air time to Sonya Massey’s family on @CBSMornings but apparently got overruled,” one fan tweeted.
“Where’s Gayle King?” asked another.
“Soooo, where has Gayle King been on CBS Mornings?” asked another.
SHE’S OUT
This is not the first time Gayle has been missing from CBS Mornings for an extended time.
In March, she and Nate were both absent.

Despite him congratulating Gayle for winning a Gracies Leadership Award, she was nowhere to be seen.
Fans on social media said that they missed Gayle and wondered where she was.
She had been off the show for a few days at that point.
Gayle joined CBS Mornings in 2011, originally titled CBS This Morning.
