    Police convoy for Pa. state trooper who died passing through Lehigh Valley

    A police convoy for a Pennsylvania State Police trooper who died recently is making its way through the Lehigh Valley on Friday morning.

    The convoy is for Trooper Peter Conforti, who died while off-duty. Conforti enlisted in 2016 was assigned to Troop L in Hamburg, according to police.

    A procession was held for him Thursday.

    Trooper Ethan Brownback, a state police spokesman, said about 9:20 a.m. that the convoy left the state police station in Hamburg, Berks County, and will be going to Lehigh Valley Hospital.
