Adult basketball season begins at Colony Park in August

– The City of Atascadero has opened team registrations for the 2024 fall season of adult basketball at Colony Park Community Center. The league will run from Aug. 25 to Oct. 27, featuring eight regular-season games with some holidays off. Games will take place on Sundays.

Teams can be coed and must register as a team, with a minimum of eight players and a maximum of 12 players. A team manager’s meeting will be held the week of Aug. 19 at Colony Park Community Center, with the time and date to be determined.

League fees are $489 per team, with an additional $5 per non-resident player. For teams with eight or more non-residents, there is a 10% fee of $48.90. Registration and fees must be submitted at the front desk of Colony Park Community Center, located at 5599 Traffic Way, Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. The registration deadline is Aug. 5.
