Here's another recipe for fudge that's very easy to make. You can double it, or quadruple it, for more servings.

    Ingredients

    • One 14-oz. can sweetened, condensed milk
    • 4 tablespoons cocoa or cacao powder (I like 2 tablespoons of each)
    • 1 tablespoon butter

    Directions

    1. Line a glass pan with wax paper or cling wrap.
    2. In a medium saucepan, blend the condensed milk and cocoa, or cacao powder, until well combined.
    3. Add the tablespoon of butter to the mixture and cook over medium heat while stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens (about 10 to 15 minutes, or until it begins to pull away from the sides of the saucepan).
    4. Pour the thickened fudge into the prepared mold and spread evenly.
    5. Let the fudge cool to room temperature, and then put it in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours, or until set.

One recipe makes about 8 small squares of fudge.

This sounds like the old time fudge. I hope it is. I love that old fudge that was hard when you cut it, but it was so good.
