Art Center Morro Bay offers media arts workshop

– Art Center Morro Bay will host a Media Arts (Video Production) Workshop on July 23, 24, and 25 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The workshop is open to both members and nonmembers, with a cost of $60 for members and $75 for nonmembers.

Participants will learn how to organize and edit videos, transforming them into polished projects. The workshop will cover the basics of video production and explore various video styles. Attendees should bring a smartphone with sufficient storage for filming or a camera and computer for filming and editing.

Robert Styles, an instructor with over 10 years of experience in teaching video production in Porterville, California, will lead the workshop. Styles is also a film critic, writing a weekly column titled “Cinema Styles” for the Porterville Recorder. Following the adult class, Styles will offer a teen media arts workshop daily.
