Man charged with attempted murder at California campground

We were at a campground one year and there was a trailer set up that had music blasting late into the evening. Two motorhomes pulled in. They were Seniors, intending to bed down. One elderly gentleman went over a politely asked the kid to turn his music down as it was past ten pm. The goofball went into his trailer and produced a 30 06, and began firing it into the air threatening people. "Who told you how loud my music could be ( he was tweaking on methamphetamine the best I could tell. This fellow came to our tent and began shooting. I didn't say a word, and wished that we had brought the pistol! When he moved on to another part of the campground, stark naked, we swept up our tent, and left driving in the road without a stitch of clothing on, hoping we did not get pulled over. Our campgrounds are no longer safe. Twice my late parents camped throughout the country. They had murders occur in the campsite next to them. I believe both incidents were in Oregon.
