    Camp Quality Arkansas hosts camp for kids with cancer

    MORRILTON, Ark. – Camp Quality Arkansas welcomed over 50 new campers for their 2024 summer camp at Camp Mitchell this week.

    The camp is designed for children between the ages of 5 and 17 who have been diagnosed with cancer; whether they are in active treatment or remission, a chance to engage in normal child-like activities in a closely supervised environment.

    The camp is completely free and offers activities like swimming, arts and crafts, yoga, outdoor adventures, and more.

    Of the 36 years of Camp Quality Arkansas’ existence, this is the third year that it has been hosted in Central Arkansas, and camp officials say they keep coming back because of the impact it has on the children they serve.
