    Arkansas woman killed in hit and run, police searching for suspect

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An Arkansas woman was killed after being hit by a car in Cross County, Arkansas early Thursday morning, according to the Arkansas State Police.

    Around 5:39 a.m., ASP responded to Highway 64, west of the County Line Liquor Store where a woman was reportedly hit by a car.

    Reports say 66-year-old Lucille Hollis was found lying on the south shoulder of Highway 64. She received injuries from the accident and was pronounced dead.

    According to the ASP, evidence found on the scene indicates that Hollis was hit by a late model GMC/Chevrolet pickup truck while she was walking on the side of the highway.
