The testing of a B-sample has seemingly not cleared boxing star Ryan Garcia of wrongdoing in his failed drug tests before and after his victory over Devin Haney last month.

After a controversial buildup, the aftermath of Garcia's boxing match with Haney on April 20 has followed suit. Having been widely praised for his shock performance in victory, headlines surrounding "King Ryan" soon turned back to troublesome matters, this time regarding performance-enhancing drugs.

Garcia tested positive for the banned substance ostarine in urine tests a day before (April 19) his victory over Haney and immediately post-fight.

The 25-year-old was quick to plead his innocence and requested for his B-sample to be tested. A month on, however, the results of that have not put Garcia in the clear...

Garcia Cries 'Set-Up' After B-Sample Positive For Ostarine

Per boxing reporter Dan Rafael , who was the first to reveal news of Garcia's failed tests last month, the former interim WBC lightweight champion's B-samples also tested positive for ostarine.

Garcia was quick to react on social media, once again showing no signs that he's taking the matter seriously and instead reiterating the claim that he is being 'set up'.

"Let's go we positive," Garcia wrote. "Positive vibes bruh. Yess so happy"

    "I F***ING LOVE STEROIDS"

"I don't care I'll never make money again with boxing. Your loss not mine, For setting me up. lol joke on yall"

"I will swallow all steroids," Garcia added.

In a follow-up post, Rafael noted that the New York State Athletic Commission has received the testing report for the B-samples and is now expected to schedule a hearing for Garcia at some point this summer.

Garcia was initially slated to challenge for Haney's WBC super lightweight title at the Barclays Center, but a sizable weight miss ensured the championship would stay with "The Dream" regardless of the result.
