What time do polls open and close?

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on May 21. However, if you’ve yet to cast your vote at 6 p.m. and are in line at the polling location, you will still be able to turn in your ballot.

Can I vote across political parties?

In Kentucky primary elections, such as the one on May 21, voters can only vote for candidates within their own documented affiliation or nonpartisan candidates. In the general election coming up in November, voters will be able to vote across parties regardless of political affiliation.
