While a lot of workout rompers or bodysuits are pretty tight, some give that perfect mix of support and comfort—almost like a workout dress. Because who doesn’t want a romper that doubles as workout attire for the days that you want something stretchy but a little more elevated in style? One of Walmart ’s newest performance rompers falls into this category and looks so much like a popular Free People onesie bodysuit that’s almost four times the price.

The product we're talking about is Walmart’s Avia Women's Performance Romper with a 3” inseam. It’s currently $24.98 at Walmart and is all one solid color and one attached piece.

The top half is tighter with tank straps that crisscross in the back. The lower back portion also has a zipper for any small items you want to stash in there if you use this for running or workouts. Then, the waistband is attached to looser, flowy shorts with a 3-inch inseam. That means the shorts land about the upper-middle thigh.

As Walmart’s site states, this performance romper is made with “buttery-soft brushed fabric” that has a fabric makeup of 82% nylon and 18% spandex. This material makes the romper moisture-wicking to keep you cool if you’re working out. As the model shows, though, you can also dress it up with heels or wedges for a cute yet casual look.

On May 11, a popular Walmart shopping Instagram account, Walmart Finds , posted a Reel about this romper and people in the comments just can't get over it.

“This brand is crushing it," one person wrote about Avia’s performance romper. And another wrote, “It's seriously so so good!!” And that’s not even including the official reviews on Walmart’s website.

"Excellent exercise romper," one shopper titled their review. They then wrote about all the things that this workout romper got right.

“This romper is super comfortable and does fit true to size…” they wrote. “There is not a built-in bra and you can see through the material a little. There is built-in underwear so you don't have to worry about the shorts opening. The material is super lightweight and soft."

Another reviewer simply wrote, "Amazing and stylish romper" and another shared, "This army green romper is perfect for summer!"

Walmart Finds also pointed out that this romper is similar to the Righteous Runsie at Free People . It’s $98 and does have a nearly identical design; a tight top with flowy shorts on the bottom, all attached to create a cute romper or run-onesie (runsie). The biggest difference is that Free People’s onesie has a cutout above the waistband at the upper abdomen area. But it has the same type of straps that crisscross in the back and a small zippered pocket at the lower back.

Free People’s Runsie is shorter, with their shorts measuring 2 inches. And its fabric makeup is 68% nylon and 32% elastane in most of the romper.

Even though Walmart’s performance romper might lack a built-in bra, shoppers seem to really like it—it’s even labeled as a best-seller on Walmart’s site. So if you’re looking for an inexpensive workout romper that has some airy shorts, the Avia Women's Performance Romper might be the right fit for you.
