The New York Red Bulls announced Tuesday that construction is underway on its new, privately funded, state-of-the-art Training Complex in Morris Township.

The club says the new facility marks a significant investment in its future that will cater to all of its professional and youth teams.

Gensler will serve as lead architectural designer, while March Construction will oversee the construction. The 80-acre parcel is located on the former Honeywell site. The property off of Columbia Road is near the Route 24 interchange with County Road 510. It will have eight full-size outdoor soccer pitches, including a turf field and complementary training areas.

At the site, a cruciform-shaped building will serve as headquarters for the team’s sporting department. Additionally, it will contain locker rooms, a gym, dining hall, academic spaces, physiotherapy areas, and offices.

The site will be home to the First Team and Red Bulls II. It will also host the New York Red Bulls Academy and Youth Training programs.

In a press release, Jochen Schneider, head of sport for the Red Bulls, described it as a great day for the organization.

“We are excited for construction to begin on our new Training Complex,” said Schneider. “We want to provide our players, both professional and our academy, the best place for them to work, train, and improve.”

“Building the premier training complex in Major League Soccer is a significant investment, but one that we believe is necessary,” said Marc de Grandpr, Red Bulls president. “Our vision is for this facility to be a source of pride for our entire organization, our fans, partners, and the Morris Township community for many years to come.”

The Training Complex is scheduled to open its doors in fall 2025.
