High temperatures to reach the high 70s. Why is it so warm?

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – It will be a mix of sun and clouds for Monday.

It will be warm with high temperatures in the mid to upper 70s with a light breeze. There is a slight chance for an isolated shower but most will stay dry.

Monday night will be mostly cloudy with the chance for a passing shower and patchy fog. Lows in the upper 40s and low 50s.

Tuesday is looking mostly cloudy with the chance for showers mainly in the morning and again in the late afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the upper 60s.
