    Ashland County Preps Scoreboard, April 27: Hillsdale scores 23 runs in baseball win

    Here's a quick recap of all the baseball and softball action throughout Ashland County on Saturday, April 27.

    Baseball

    Hillsdale 23 Tuslaw 5

    Ten different Hillsdale players had an RBI in the Falcons' 23-5 rout of Tuslaw, including four RBIs from Drake Stubbs, three from Brady Heller and two each by Kael Lewis and Braylen Jarvis.

    Black River 10 Lorain 7

    Black River's Lenny Ramirez's three RBIs helped lead the Pirates to an away win over Lorain.

    Ashland 4 Clyde 3

    The Arrows held on for a 4-3 nonconference win over Clyde and moved to 10-4 on the season.

    Chippewa 11 Loudonville 1

    Loudonville couldn't get much going against Chippewa on Saturday, as the Redbirds dropped to 6-9 on the year.

    Southeast 6 Northwestern 3

    Northwestern went down 3-0 in the second inning and couldn't recover in their loss to Southeast. The Huskies are now 7-7 on the year.

    Softball

    New London 17 Crestline 3

    New London moved to 11-4 on the year after piling up 17 runs on Crestline. First baseman Gracie Thomas had six RBIs for the Wildcats.

    Mapleton 8 Norwayne 6

    Mapleton pulled off a big win on the road against Norwayne. Heidi Earl drove in a game-high four runs in the win.

    Northmor 5 South Central 4

    Northmor 12 South Central 3

    South Central dropped two games to Northmor on Saturday. The Trojans sit at 10-7 on the season.

    Clyde 9 Ashland 0

    Clyde shutout the Arrows 9-0, and outhit Ashland 11-3 in the game.
