8th Connecticut Spring Boat Show kicks off at Safe Harbor Essex Island

ESSEX, Conn. (WTNH) — The 8th Connecticut Spring Boat Show at Safe Harbor Essex Island is ready to commence this weekend!

The fun-filled weekend will include five bands and three fishing seminars: Fishing the River, Fishing the Sound, and Fishing Offshore. This event benefits the nonprofit Sails Up for Cancer, which is an organization dedicated to funding education, prevention, care, and cure for all types of cancer through the art and enjoyment of sailing.

Dates and Times: Friday, April 26th, 1 – 6 p.m., Saturday, April 27th, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Sunday, April 28th, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

This is a rain-or-shine event. Children 13 and under are free when accompanied by a paid adult.

Be sure to get a Children’s ticket for them when you are purchasing online. Each ticket/bracelet provides entrance for all three days.
