AEW Tag Team Specialist Suffered Concussion During Dynasty Ladder Match

This past weekend at AEW’s Dynasty pay-per-view, The Young Bucks and FTR added to their impressive run of matches with another classic bout. However, Dave Meltzer has now reported in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that during their ladder match for the vacant AEW Tag Team Championships, Dax Harwood suffered a concussion. How much time he’ll be out of action is currently unknown, although hopefully, it won’t be for too long.

Harwood and his longtime tag partner Cash Wheeler made their AEW debuts in 2020 and have twice held the promotions tag team championships. Still, their long-term future is currently uncertain as Wheeler was arrested last August following an alleged road rage incident where it is claimed he pulled a firearm on another driver. Subsequently, he would plead not guilty, and updates became sparse, although it’s recently been confirmed his trial date is May 20th.
