John Marshall High School students officially sign for the military

MARSHALL COUNTY, W.Va. (WTRF) — John Marshall High School held its military signing day today, recognizing all of the students who have enlisted or are considering enlisting.

Adrian Haynes, Dane Miscovich, and James Victor McElwee have decided to join the Army National Guard. Michael Clemons has decided to join the Navy.

Devin Pomaranski, West Virginia National Guard staff sergeant, says he is excited to see these young men commit to serving and defending the public.

“So, to see these four young individuals make that jump, it’s absolutely incredible. And again, no matter which branch they join in particular – just to see it happen, it gives me a lot of hope for the future, it really does.”
