Sunshine and cooler temperatures for Friday

HEADLINES:

FORECAST:

Storm Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says it will be clear tonight and temperatures will once again fall back into the 30s. Some areas in Northern Fairfield County may dip into the upper 20s early in the morning.

The National Weather Service has a freeze warning again for Northern and Southern Fairfield County.

Sunshine will return on Friday, but temperatures will still be running on the cooler side.

The weekend will feature clouds and a few showers late Saturday into Sunday morning.

Temperatures go from near 60 on Saturday to about 70 on Sunday. Look for temperatures to warm even more on Monday. Some areas could see 80 degrees. There is a risk of showers and even a few isolated thunderstorms Tuesday.

FRIDAY: Sunny. High of 57.

SATURDAY: Partly sunny. Showers late. High of 60.

SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy to partly sunny. Early showers. High of 70.

MONDAY: Partly sunny. High of 77.

TUESDAY: Partly cloudy with late showers/storms. High of 70.

WEDNESDAY: Partly cloudy. High of 72.

THURSDAY: Mostly sunny. High of 69.
