Don't worry, it's not too late to decorate your home's exterior! You may think all of the goodies from your favorite home stores are gone, but there is one more chain you have to check out before you totally give up hope. And that of course is the good old trusty Dollar Tree.

Didn't think the Dollar Tree would carry backyard accessories? You learn something new every day! They have everything you need for your ideal cozy summer evenings and of course, their products are incredibly affordable.

TikTok creator Melissa Houser ( @mhouser12 ) is the ultimate shopping queen for all of your favorite chains: Marshalls, Five Below, Target, and of course, the Dollar Tree.

She somehow manages to find all of the best home, beauty, and clothing options at these stores and this time around she stumbled upon a product that we are absolutely taking home with us this summer.

If you need some extra lighting in your backyard but you don't have any room or desire for string lights, then you need to get your hands on some of these super affordable solar lights from the Dollar Tree. Each one is 14 inches long, stainless steel, and only $1.25 a piece. Such a steal! That means you can easily cover your walkway, garden beds, or drive way for under $20.

These items have long stakes that slide easily into the ground and the reviews online are raving. One customer commented saying she bought a few to go around a headstone and we think that is another great idea for these beautiful lights.

When looking online, solar stakes of this size are usually at least $8 a piece so Dollar Tree's prices are really going to save your wallet this summer.

Ideally solar lights last for anywhere from two to five years, so even though these are Dollar Tree quality, they will definitely last you through this season and hopefully the next.
