Baseball: 2024 Morris County Tournament bracket, scores, schedule

Morris Knolls baseball earned the top seed in the 56th Morris County Tournament on Tuesday night.

Four-time defending champion Delbarton is the second seed, followed by 3-Randolph, 4-Mendham, 5-Mount Olive and 6-West Morris.

The top six seeds all received opening-round byes and will begin play in the first round.

The preliminary round of the 26-team tournament must be played by April 27. The first round will be played by May 3. Quarterfinals will be on May 4, all at the site of the higher seed.

Delbarton will host the semifinal doubleheader on May 11 at Brian Fleury Field. The final is scheduled for 7 p.m. May 16 at Montville High School. The rain date is Friday, May 17 at 7 pm.

Since the tournament’s inception in 1968, Morristown has the most MCT titles with 15. Delbarton is second with nine titles and Roxbury has five. Hanover Park, Montville, Morris Knolls and Randolph, are tied with three apiece.

Delbarton has won the last four tournaments and five of the last six.
