BASKING RIDGE, NJ -- Ben Larner pitched 6 2/3 innings of shutout ball to lead Ridge to a 2-0 baseball victory over North Hunterdon on Tuesday.

Larner threw 88 pitches, struck out four, walked two and scattered six hits for the victory before Ezra Sadowski came in to strike out the final batter for the save.

Jake Dolan's two-run double in the third inning gave Ridge (6-4) the lead. It was one of only three hits for the Red Devils, who have won five in a row and allowed a total of eight runs over that stretch.

Andrew Reynolds singled and came around to score in the third inning. Ridge is on the road for the rest of the week, playing at Randolph on Wednesday, Somerville on Thursday and then at TD Bank Ballpark against New Providence on Saturday.
