It’s complicated: Posey County signs plea for another chance

POSEY COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – Do you know someone in Posey County searching for a long lost love? A set of mysterious road signs have drivers speculating on who they might be directed toward. On Indiana 66 in Posey County, there are several road signs that are out and grabbing the attention of drivers passing by. But the question is: is this a practical joke or is someone trying to rekindle an old flame?

The signs themselves may be hard to miss, but the message on them will make you take a second look. In an apparent attempt to bring someone back to their lives, the signs read, “I don’t wanna live without you. Let’s try again.” Drivers heading west into Posey County will see one sign on the right side of the road just past the Saint Peter’s church. The other two are visible in the east-bound direction heading towards Vanderburgh County.

Whether a clever trickster or a hopeless romantic, the origin of the signs are not yet known. It is also not known if this is the one who got away, or just someone who got away with a light-hearted joke. There is no word on the status of this potential relationship.
