The Scituate Animal Shelter of Massachusetts recently introduced Wednesday, a cat with a challenging start to life now looking for her forever home. The local animal shelter reveals that Wednesday was found “in a literal heap of trash in a hoarding house, nursing her five babies.” Regardless of her tough start to motherhood, Wednesday was an excellent mother to her litter until they all found loving homes.

Once a cherished pet, Marmalade was left to fend for herself outdoors when her owner sadly passed away. "She was watched in the neighborhood for months, as she grew more matted," the shelter wrote. "Thankfully, she was trapped and brought to us."
