OHP: 2-year-old dies in Pottawatomie County crash

POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY, Okla. ( KFOR ) – Two people were injured and a child passed away in a car accident Sunday night, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Officials say the crash happened around 9 p.m. on State Highway 9 near Earlsboro in Pottawatomie County.

OHP says the driver of the first vehicle went to a nearby hospital in fair condition. The driver of the second vehicle also went to the hospital in fair condition, but the passenger, a 2-year-old girl, died from her injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
