TOWN OF PIGEON, Wis. (WKBT) -- One person is dead following a head-on crash in Trempealeau County Friday.

The crash happened on US 53/121 at Daggett Coulee Road near the Town of Pigeon. An SUV headed north crossed over the center line and struck a red pickup truck around 11:00 a.m.

The SUV's driver died at the scene. Two people were in the pickup truck. They were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash closed the highway for 2 hours.

Names of those involved have not yet been released. The crash is still under investigation.
