Sierra at Tahoe Closing Weekend Festivities

Head over to one of Lake Tahoe’s favorite ski hills for an end of the season weekend bash that started yesterday at McP’s Taphouse with giveaways, drink specials, and live music.

Today it continues with the Never Summer Snowboards demo day. They’ll have tons of boards for everyone to try from all-mountain, park, freeride, and even splitboards.

Never Summer is a Denver based snowboard company that was awarded the first patent on hybrid camber board shapes.

You can also check out some live music from Kyle Kirchubel today in between laps. The local Tahoe artist will be at the Pub bringing the energy from 1-4.

Saturday and Sunday are action packed with more events, festivities, and good times.

Saturday at the Solstice Plaza there will be snow/beach volleyball games going down. No sign up required. It’s open to everyone, and DJ Tutch Cassidy will be spinning some jams at the plaza from 10-2.

Cool off from the volleyball games with Kona Big Wave and Nutrl Sampling from 12-2. Just bring your ID, and you're free to sample some refreshing Kona brew.

Then, wind down your Saturday with more live music at the Pub. Tommy Ciccone aka Tahoe Tommy will be jamming from 1-4.

If you’ve still got enough left in the tank for closing day Sunday, it’s supposed to be 60+ degrees and sunny. Real Sierra at Cabo vibes. Dress up in your best pirate gear and prepare the cannons.

The final event of the weekend will be Preacher’s Pickers performing in the Solstice Plaze from 12-3.
