Surprise! Taylor Swift reveals ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ is actually a double album

It’s the day Swifties everywhere have been waiting for: Taylor Swift’s 11th album “The Tortured Poets Department” was officialy released on midnight Friday.

But that’s not all.

Swift dropped a surprise on all her fans at 2 a.m. — a secret double album.

In posts across all her social media pages, the artist revealed she was releasing an additional 15 songs as part of a second installment of “The Tortured Poets Department” that she has named “The Anthology.”

“I’d written so much tortured poetry in the past 2 years and wanted to share it all with you, so here’s the second installment of TTPD: The Anthology. 15 extra songs. And now the story isn’t mine anymore… it’s all yours,” Swift wrote.

With the newly added songs, the album now has a total of 31 tracks.

On Thursday, Swift shared that Fortnight, featuring Post Malone, will be her first song release from the album. She also announced that the song’s music video will be released Friday night.
