ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WBTW) — Robeson County deputies are searching for a man they say killed a woman who was the mother of his two children.

Scotti Dewayne Tyler, 38, is facing charges of first-degree murder and nine counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling. The victim, Lydia Ann Hoyos, 36, was the mother of Tyler’s children, authorities said.

Deputies said Hoyos was found dead inside of her home by the time authorities arrived to her Levi Road residence just before 6 a.m. on Sunday.

Anyone with information on Tyler’s whereabouts or the case is asked to call the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office at (910) 671-3170.
