(St. Paul, MN) -- Two journalists who were reportedly attacked by Minnesota State Patrol troopers in 2020 have decided to settle their lawsuit against the state.

The Los Angeles Times announced yesterday that the two journalists have agreed to a one-point-two-million dollar settlement. The two women were covering the response to George Floyd's murder when troopers reportedly backed them against a wall and began firing pepper spray and other projectiles at them.

$1 million dollars of the settlement will go to legal fees, while the journalists will split the remaining $200 thousand dollars.
