Alabama man killed after becoming entrapped in industrial machinery

An Alabama man was killed Saturday when he became entrapped in production machinery at industrial facility.

Cederic Lamar Garner, 52, of Birmingham, died at UAB Hospital shortly after he was taken there.

Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Bill Yates said Garner was an employee at ACIPCO in the 2700 block of 16th Street North.

Garner was severely injured in an industrial accident when he became entrapped in a piece of machinery at ACIPCO, Yates said.
