Saints lose another offensive lineman in Week 4 vs. Bucs

By Adam Holt,

The New Orleans Saints are quite the mess on offense right now. They took another hit to their struggling offensive line in Week 4 also.

In a game where the OL showed bright spots, the unit lost guard Andrus Peat.

Peat left Sunday's loss to the Bucs with a concussion.

Max Garcia replaced Peat. Keep in mind that the Saints are already without starting guard Cesar Ruiz. Peat was replacing him against Tampa Bay.

Ruiz is in concussion protocol as well.

For New Orleans, a rough game got worse with the loss of Peat. He is an inconsistent player, but he provides more upside than the options behind him - at the least.

For a unit that has already had three bad outings, today's outcome only make the future cloudier for the Saints on their offensive line. There has been no update or timetable given for Peat's potential return.
