Aurora City Council member Danielle Jurinsky said Monday that Denver Mayor Mike Johnston is bussing migrants into Aurora and buying them hotel rooms. She went on to explain how Denver, a so-called sanctuary city, is bussing migrants out of its boundaries and into Aurora. Jurinsky alleged the contract with the hotel doesn’t even have Denver City Council approval yet. She said the mayor must have thought this would fly under the radar. “Little did they ever think there would be an employee of a sitting council member” displaced. She called her employees “hard-working American citizens.” She said her employee and his husband lived at the hotel with their service animal for about a year.
