One person is dead after a crash involving a semitrailer in Miami County early Thursday morning.

Around 6 a.m. Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers were called to northbound Interstate 75 in Monroe Township to reports of a three-car deadly crash, according to a media release.

The semitrailer began to slow while occupying part of the left lane and berm.

Part of the trailer was hit by a Dodge Charger driven by Sandra Willis, 42, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

As a result of this Willis’ car was pushed across the northbound lanes of traffic and hit in the right lane by a Chevrolet Equinox.

Willis was thrown from their car as they were not wearing a safety belt.

It was not included in the media release if Barker was injured.
