EAST LINCOLN — A wildlife is burning in Lincoln County according to Emergency Management Agency Director Chris Reid. The fire is the third wildfire this week in Lincoln and Lawerence Counties.
Mississippi Forestry Commission and Volunteer Fire Departments are on scene on Garnett Trail fighting the flames. Fire could spread quickly with dry conditions and wind gusts.
A burn ban is in effect with no exceptions right now. Please do not attempt to burn anything.
